About Physiotherapy Works
Operating across some of the best villages and facilities in the Auckland region, we understand the pressures and challenges facing the sector and the degree of professionalism required to maintain standards, protect the reputation of our contracting institutions, and offer the very best care to our physiotherapy clients. Lynne has more than twenty-five years of experience working with older adults and the care industry.
Services
We use our expertise to create truly innovative, evidence-based programmes that entertain and challenge our clients, and make them feel respected and capable. They often tell us that we are making them younger! We are constantly innovating and adapting, based on the latest research findings.

Physiotherapy services based on internationally accredited programmes of clinical excellence
We incorporate the latest clinical evidence in older adults’ care in the personalised programmes we provide for each client. We work with them to set the goals that make the work we do meaningful for them, such as being able to walk down the aisle at their grandson’s wedding. We track their progress with clinical metrics that inform our treatment and give them a real sense of achievement.

Fun group classes
Our classes focus on what our older clients can achieve and teaches them that it is never too late to build their strength and the confidence that they need to enjoy life. We deliver the
Ministry of Health’s Stronger for Longer Programme, which encourages older people to incorporate strength and balance exercises into their daily routine.

Expert training on the latest moving and handling techniques for residential care staff
Our moving and handling training reduces the incidence of falls and injury in residents, prevents injury to care staff, and protects the reputation of our contracting institutions. This training is crucial to maintaining standards of care and preventing staff absences and the need for reduced duties due to injuries.

Our Ethos
Our practice is informed by the latest best-practice guidelines and clinical research.
